I like driving cars that make neat noises. Most have high strung or throaty v8's but there is something singing to me when i drive the bulletproof 2. 5 liter 5 cylinder vw motors. Couple that to a manual transmission and i'm in love! And here it is, a one owner strong running 2009 sportwaggy. The price is right too! Yeah, it has a few dents and scuffs and the interior is a bit tired in spots but this jetta is eager to go the distance and is fully serviced and ready. We just installed new brakes and rotors, a new vacuum pump and a complete mileage specific service. Fresh emission and safety stickers will be on at the time of sale! I joke all the time, especially when it comes to cars and their characteristics. Being that both my kids are either nearing, or at drivers license age, i'm focused on getting them into the safest pre-owned car for a good cost and that would be the mk5 era jetta. This particular one owner jetta does not have the full boat of needless gadgetry that the sel version does. But it does have 6 airbags, stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, and a super-safe structure that has earned it the highest rated car in its class. We also just installed 4 new tires and fresh front brakes and rotors. We thought terrible two's were tough, early teens were un-manageable, and first dates were scary. At least know they will be well protected with a safe car and one that i personally drive at least 75 miles myself to ensure there are no bugs or driveability issues. In this day and age of Helicopter parenting, intolerance and snowflake producing society, it always makes we warm and fuzzy inside when I hop into a stick shifted car of any kind. Because after all, were becoming a nation of convenience and laziness, and simply dropping a car into 'drive' and pressing the 'go' pedal is seemingly much preferred to actually working a bit behind the wheel. Hopping off my soapbox, I'll confess I've put more miles on this Jetta than I should have and can attest the engine starts and runs well, the transmission snicks properly into all gears and the clutch feels excellent. Features include chilly AC, power 1-touch windows, 2-way moonrooof, cruise control, Monsoon audio, 60/40 split rear folding seats, heated power mirrors, remote lock/unlock/trunk pop key fob and much more. That's a very rare feature on ANY car of this era! The timing belt service has been done recently, I just put 4 brand new tires on and all the mileage specific services have been completed. Fresh emission and safety inspection stickers will be affixed at the time of sale and as always, warranties are available. No sign of any major impact or damage!
